Tom Brady Makes Eye-Opening Admission About His NFL Career

When you look at the career that Tom Brady had while in the NFL, it's hard to imagine that he'd want to change much.

Obviously the three Super Bowl losses to Eli Manning and Nick Foles may be at the top of his list, but even with those losses on his resume, he walked away as one of the most decorated players to ever play. However, when making an appearance on The Pivot Podcast this past month , Brady identified what he would change about his career and surprisingly it had nothing to do with wins or losses, suspensions for deflating footballs or even how his time ended with the Patriots.

What Brady wished he could have changed wasn't a stat or attribute either, but a feeling about the game he played.

In the video which has over a million views, Brady cited the lack of emphasis he put on having fun during his playing day, as something that he would change. He also revealed it was actually Patrick Mahomes who inadvertently helped him come to this conclusion.

"When I see these young players, I see like Patrick [Mahomes] out there at quarterback, running around, laughing, having fun, I'm like, "I used to be like that. What the hell happened?'' Brady said .

He, in a way, answered his own question regarding what happened to him, which may have been a product of his determination to be great.

"I just got too serious, but, again, I can only look back and think, "Okay, if I do it again, which I'll never do it again, I would be different." But the reality is, you can't," Brady said.

Brady's next endeavor will see him in the broadcast booth for Fox Sports, while he also dabbles in some business ventures that have seen him own minority stakes in professional sports franchises.
