    Deputies looking for potential witness to fatal crash in Charles County

    CHARLES COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Deputies are looking for the identity of a woman who may have witnessed a fatal motorcycle crash that happened on June 25 on Chapel Point Road.

    The crash happened around 4:40 p.m. on Chapel Point Road near Purcell Road. The collision involved a 2007 Honda CBR600 motorcycle.

    The Charles County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said 24-year-old Nicolas Conrad Slough of Bel Alton, left the roadway and struck a tree. Slough was taken to the hospital where he died.

    CCSO said the potential witness was driving a 2024 Nissan Rogue with Virginia registration plates. Anyone with information about the identity of the possible witness or information related to the crash should call (301) 609-6277.
