    Columbia –

South Carolina red-shirt freshman quarterback LaNorris Sellers has been working with QB coach Ramon Robinson since he was in the 7th grade. As Sellers has gotten bigger, stronger and better, the expectations have risen, and so has his production.

Coming out of Spring drills is Columbia, Shane Beamer named Sellers the Gamecocks starting QB heading into Fall practice, but Sellers knows that he needs to put in the work to be ready to thrive in that roll.

Last season, Sellers completed all 4 of his pass attempts for 86 yards and 2 TD’s, while also rushing 5 times for 51-yards and a score.

In South Carolina’s Spring game, Sellers was equally as sharp, completing 9-of-11 passes for 70 yards while rushing for 38-yards and a TD.
