    Resurfacing project wraps up in Okaloosa County: FDOT

    OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — Resurfacing, improvements and upgrades have wrapped up on one road in Okaloosa County, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

    This comes as FDOT announced the completion of the $6.7 million project to mill and resurface State Road 85 from North Commerce Drive to Bill Lundy Road (County Road 85A) in Okaloosa County.

    Here are the changes that came along with the resurfacing efforts:

    • Sidewalk improvements
    • Signalization upgrades
    • Drainage enhancements including new curb and gutter
