    Driver in Kansas ticketed for exceeding 100 MPH

    KANSAS (KSNW) — A driver in north central Kansas was ticketed for exceeding 100 MPH last week.

    According to a photo of the ticket posted by the Kansas Highway Patrol Troop C’s Facebook page , at 3:29 p.m. on Wednesday, Trooper Peterson ticketed a driver for going 103 MPH in a 70 MPH speed zone.

    The driver must pay a $240 fine for exceeding the maximum speed limit and a $108 docket fee for a total amount due of $328. If the driver does not pay, they must appear in court at a later date.

    “Driving at such high speeds poses a significant danger to everyone on the road,” said KHP Troop C. “We urge all motorists to slow down, wear their seatbelts, and report any vehicles traveling well above the posted speed limit.”
