Keithville mobile home flipped due to possible tornado

KEITHVILLE, La. ( KTAL/KMSS ) — A single-wide mobile home was flipped during a possible tornado in Keithville Monday afternoon.

According to a press release from Caddo Fire District 4, units were dispatched to the 9600 block of Horton Road in Keithville at 2:30 p.m. Officials say two elderly people were reported trapped inside a flipped-over home.

Upon arrival, CFD 4 Units found a single-wide trailer home rolled from its foundation and resting on its roof. Firefighters quickly made entry and found two elderly occupants who had been trapped and unable to navigate their house while it was upside down.

Firefighters rescued both occupants and transported one patient to Ochsner LSU Health for minor injuries.
