The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that Crimeline is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information identifying a person of interest in the killing of 13-year-old Rose Dieujuste on the Fourth of July.

The agency announced the reward in a press release that included security video and images of a man leaving the apartment complex where the killing took place. No additional details were provided by the Sheriff’s Office.

Dieujuste was found by deputies responding around 2:30 p.m. Thursday to the Palmetto at Lakeside apartment complex on South Rio Grande Avenue, according to informatio n released Friday by the agency . Deputies transported her to an area hospital where she died from her injuries.

Her death is being investigated as a homicide. Information from the Sheriff’s Office provided few details but mentioned she was found with “obvious signs of trauma.”

The Orlando Sentinel first reported Friday the killing had taken place at the complex after an employee confirmed it. The Sheriff’s Office declined a request to confirm it had taken place there at the time. The exact location was left out of Friday’s press release from the agency but was included in the latest one.
