Kim Kardashian Reveals She Got Salmon Sperm Injected Into Her Face

Kim Kardashian is the most recent celebrity to try the salmon sperm facial, joining the ranks of stars like Jennifer Aniston who have also talked about undergoing the treatment.

During the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim shared her experience with the salmon sperm facial with her surprised mother, Kris Jenner. “I got a salmon sperm facial, salmon sperm injected into my face,” she said. As we previously reported, celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston have already given praise to the treatment. In an interview with WSJ. Magazine in August 2023, the 55-year-old Friends star shared that she had also experienced the salmon sperm facial.

During the interview the actress revealed that she once tried the interesting facial. She explained to the news outlet that ‘salmon sperm’ was suggested to her by an aesthetician. “First of all, I said, ‘Are you serious? How do you get salmon’s sperm?’” Aniston recalled asking while admitting that she did try the treatment. Further in her WSJ. interview, Aniston revealed that she will “try almost anything” to maintain a youthful appearance and relies on weekly anti-aging peptide injections. “I do think that’s the future,” she told the publication.

According to US Weekly, there is a popular belief in the skincare community that salmon sperm contains DNA and other compounds that might have beneficial effects on the skin, such as promoting collagen production and improving overall complexion.

However, there isn’t substantial scientific research to definitively confirm the effectiveness of using salmon sperm for facials or skincare. Skincare benefits are usually achieved through ingredients that have been extensively researched and tested, such as hyaluronic acid, retinoids, antioxidants, and peptides.
