On July 12, Mai shared a series of videos and photos that are the definition of heart-warming. She shared the clips of her, her mother, and her daughter with the caption reading, “Happy Birthday to the 🐐!! The OG of joy, the Queen to us Capricorns , @themamamai life would be black and white without you. In the first two photos, we see Mama Mai, Jeannie, and Monaco, all smiling from ear to ear as they cuddle together for the cover of Modern Parenting, along with an ultra-stylish clip of Jeannie and Mama Mai. Then, we see a truly adorable video of Mama and Monaco dancing on a plane , with Mama giving Monaco her headphones so she can dance along. (It’s so darn cute, and everyone is smiling in it!) Then, Along with that, we see Mama and Monaco gleefully playing hide’n’seek in a hotel room.

We also see a video of Monaco and Mama Mai playing in the water, and a truly hysterical photo of the two playing in the pool still, this time though, we see Mama Mai’s false eyelash literally fall from her eye. (We’ve all been there!)

For those who don’t know, back in Jan. 2022, Mai and her ex-husband Jeezy welcomed their daughter Monaco Mai-Jenkins into the world.

The Real alum wrote on Instagram in celebration of Mother’s Day 2023, saying, “Ever since we had Monaco, I see baby pictures of myself and Mama Mai with completely different eyes. My mother always said, ‘I am the root, my kids is the tree.’ Navigating motherhood today, I understand the depth of her words. From my brother’s unwavering support, to the incredible grandparents who raised us, we form a tapestry of interconnected branches nurturing lil Monaco 🥹”

She lovingly concluded, “On this Mother’s Day, I am so thankful for the roots that ground us and the bonds that help my mom journey be the healthiest it can be 🌳🌳.”
