Washington DOT Shares Hilarious Video Announcing Road Renovation

Is there ever a convenient time for road construction? The answer is a resounding “no,” of course, but that doesn’t make the inconvenience any less frustrating. This is something that the Washington Department of Transportation (DOT) understands well. On social media, countless folks submit complaints to them about road problems. So, when it came time to announce that major work will be done over the summer, they wanted to find a way to soften the news.

Whoever was in charge of finding a creative way to do so deserves a raise. Locals are loving this announcement video. Best of all, so are folks from all over the country! That’s because the video features a heavy metal theme that, for some reason, works oddly well. Not because it makes much sense, really, but because it doesn’t.
