Caitlin Clark Makes Her Priority Extremely Clear After Breaking Ankles vs. Lynx

The 2024 Paris Olympics are just around the corner, but Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark remains off Team USA’s roster for the summer games.

Some people believe that the door is still open for Clark to join the national squad, especially amid Phoenix Mercury veteran Diana Taurasi’s injury.

Following the Fever’s 81-74 road win over the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday, Clark said that representing the United States in the Olympics is still her dream, though, her priority at the moment is to get better as a basketball player.

"It gives you something to work for, something to dream for," she said. "Also, I feel like I can continue to get a lot better and for me, that's my main focus and that's what excites me the most going forward."

When it comes to her progress in the WNBA, it appears that Clark is starting to really figure out how things work in the pros.

Against the Lynx, Clark had 17 points to go with six assists, three rebounds, and two steals. Over the last four Fever games, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star averaged 21.3 points, 11.3 assists, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks.
