Wake-Up Weather: brutal heat ahead of cold front and rain chances

Summary: Sunny skies with Saharan dust along for the ride as temperatures continue to climb into the triple digits but there is relief waiting for us at the end of the tunnel. A cold front expected to stall over the state which could bring clouds, rain and yes even cooler temperatures. As Sunday approaches we could see temperatures as cool as the mid-upper 80’s with better rain chances as a cold front is expected to stall over the state pushing moisture and possible excessive rainfall closer our way.

Today: Sunny, dusty skies with Saharan dust accompanying the heat set in place. High Temperature: 102° Winds: S 10 G 20 MPH

Tonight: Clear and calm night. Low Temperature: 77° Winds: S 10 G 20 MPH
