The Paris 2024 Olympics is now 11 days away.

And while that most likely means that every Olympics team roster is set (including the USA Women's National Team), Colin Cowherd dropped a passionate plea about one way Caitlin Clark could join Team USA in Paris.

"Diana Taurasi is injured, and it may open the door for Caitlin Clark to make the Olympic team," Cowherd said on "The Herd" with Colin Cowherd Monday.

He then goes on to say, "You're not going to put Caitlin Clark... on the [Olympics] team?

"The sport made a terrible decision on the Olympic team," Cowherd added.

"You made a mistake the first time in not putting her on the Olympic team. Don't double down on dumb. Get her on the team," he pleaded.

"Give us a reason to watch the Olympic women's team... quadruple your television ratings with [Clark]. Promoting not only the other women on the team that can get endorsements, but promoting your sport," Cowherd added.

There's no question that Clark would add a massive ratings boost to all of Team USA's Olympics games.

Perhaps a last minute change may be in store for Clark due to Taurasi's injury.
