After eight years as co-host of the popular Fox Sports 1 show “Undisputed,” polarizing sports media personality Skip Bayless is leaving the show, according to Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post .

His final show will be later this summer.

The future of the debate-style talk show isn’t immediately known, though the Post said it is expected to continue once Bayless is gone. The outlook for the show doesn’t look great amid, however, declining ratings and the exits of its two original co-hosts. Hall of Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe left the show after the NBA Finals last year.

Friction between Bayless and Sharpe boiled over on the show over a tweet that Bayless posted immediately after Damar Hamlin's on-field cardiac arrest in January 2023.

After Sharpe left, the show has had a revolving door of guest hosts, including former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson, former Dallas Cowboys wideout Michael Irvin, ex-Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, former Boston Celtics superstar Paul Pierce and popular sports media personality Rachel Nichols.
