Former Las Vegas Raiders starter is looking forward to getting his revenge in 2024

The Las Vegas Raiders had to make a very difficult decision a few years ago. It was a decision that really didn't have to be made, but Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler thought it did. Now, in hindsight, the decision looks pretty dumb.

Yes, I'm talking about McDaniels and Ziegler deciding to release Derek Carr , which cost them a pretty penny, and they have yet to have a better quarterback than Carr since then. So, with Ziegler and McDaniels being fired now, a lot of fans are even more upset about that move.

Luckily, the part of the fan base that still loves Carr, will be excited in 2024 when the Raiders play the New Orleans Saints. And, Carr is excited, too.

"Oh I can't wait, it's going to be awesome," former Raiders quarterback Derek Carr said at the ACC Golf Championship. "It's going to be so weird seeing all of my friends on the other team."

I'm sure Carr, who has a lot of Raiders records under his belt, is excited to play his former team. However, I'm sure he is also ready to try and get some revenge. The team pretty much did him wrong. They made him sit out so he wouldn't get injured because of an injury clause and then released him as if he hadn't been the franchise guy for the last 10 years.

But, it is what it is. Just know, he will likely come out with some fire when the two play in 2024.
