Davante Adams isn't going anywhere, his agents insist.

Amid rampant trade speculation, the agents for the Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver issued a statement that shot down the rumors in five words.

"This is baseless, unfounded speculation," said agents Kenny Chapman and Frank Bauer, via ESPN's Adam Schefter on X . The pair added that Adams is expected to remain with the Raiders and there had not been any trade talks.

The speculation was sparked largely by Adams' appearance on the Netflix docuseries "Receiver," where cameras caught him growing frustrated with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo last season. As SI.com noted , one scene showed Adams saying he needs to "get out of here" after taking a big hit.

The trade speculation kicked up when former NFL quarterback turned commentator Boomer Esiason said this week that he heard Adams could be shipped to the New York Jets sometime later this summer. The move would reunite Adams with former Green Bay Packers teammate Aaron Rodgers.

“I’m not sure about why it would take that long, but Davante is never going to come out publicly and say ‘I want to leave the Raiders," Esiason said, via Audacy.com . "But you hear in this ‘Receiver’ program, where he says, ‘I gotta get out of here before I get killed.’ He says that. That leads the viewer to believe that he wants out of [Vegas]. But I don’t see him saying that publicly. …"I could see him saying to his agent, much like he did in Green Bay, the same type of thing.”
