NFL Fans Celebrate as Bill Belichick's Future Coaching Plans Revealed

It's going to be a strange year in the NFL this season as long-time New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick spends the year away from the sidelines and in the media booth instead.

After 24 seasons as a head coach, Belichick stepped away from the Patriots following last season and surprisingly did not pick up a job with any other team. He instead entered the media world, where he will spend time on the talking head circuit this season.

That doesn't mean that he is finished coaching, though.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Belichick is still very interested in returning to the coaching world in 2025 and continuing his career.

"Bill Belichick intends to coach in 2025," NFL Network's Tom Pelissero said on The Rich Eisen Show on Tuesday. "He's staying engaged in the game. He's showing up to roasts. He's now going to be on Inside the NFL . We've seen him showing up to different events."

Pelissero also said, "He's fully invested in he wants to coach again. He wants to pursue the all-time wins record. Those are things that really matter a lot to Bill Belichick."

At the moment, Belichick is 26 victories away from breaking Don Shula's all-time record of most wins in NFL coaching history, so he would need to coach at least 2-3 more seasons in order to reach that milestone.

Where will he get the chance to do that? We don't know quite yet, but it's at least great to hear that he is interested in getting back out there and returning to the field.
