    Another boat retrieval opportunity being offered to McCook Lake residents

    NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. (KCAU) — Another chance to retrieve boats is being offered to residents of McCook Lake.

    According to a release from North Sioux City , residents of McCook Lake will have the opportunity to retrieve their boats on Saturday.

    Boat and jet ski owners will be assisted by the North Sioux City Police Department and South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks at the Izaak Walton League boat ramp.

    Boat retrieval services will be offered from 9 a.m. until noon. The City is encouraging residents to grab their boats this Saturday as another opportunity to retrieve their boats may not be offered.

    Boat owners will be required to arrive with a vehicle and empty boat trailer, a total of two people, one to drive the vehicle and a second to drive the boat, the address of where the boat is located, a photo ID, and a life jacket.

    Boat owners will be escorted individually by conservation officers. The retrieval of other personal property will not be allowed and they will only be retrieval boats and jet skis that are operational.

    Boat retrieval was offered to McCook Lake earlier this month.
