ESPN's Monica McNutt Facing Serious Backlash for Caitlin Clark 'Hate' on Broadcast

On Wednesday night, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever faced off against the Dallas Wings in a highly-anticipated regular-season contest.

The game was broadcast nationally on ESPN — headlined by lead play-by-play voice Pam Ward and analyst Monica McNutt.

Fever fans aren't exactly thrilled with this ESPN broadcast team, specifically when it comes to McNutt's analysis.

Fans flooded social media to call out McNutt for her "Caitlin Clark Hate" during the first half of Wednesday night's broadcast.

"Monica McNutt is such a hater lmao, obvious foul calls on Indiana and CC but she thinks they all are questionable," one wrote.

"Monica McNutt def not a Clark fan lol," another said.

"Monica Mcnutt is a hater. She won’t give Caitlin Clark no credit. She gonna stand on her opinion and love for Angel Reese," another added.

"Monica McNutt does not like CC and she doesn’t hide it lmao not sure who decided she should be calling any Fever games," another wrote.

Clark and the Fever trail the Wings 46-54 at the halftime break. Indiana's No. 1 overall pick finished the first two quarters with 14 points, eight assists and three rebounds. Aliyah Boston led all scorers with 20 points.
