    Crews fight row house fire in Johnstown, police to investigate cause

    JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — Crews are currently fighting a fire along Franklin Street in the City of Johnstown.

    WTAJ has learned that the fire broke out at a row house along the 600 block of Franklin Street shortly after 12:15 p.m.

    The row house contained three locations and all were affected by the fire. Crews are still working to put out hot spots on scene, according to Johnstown Fire Department Chief Robert Statler.

    Officials were also told by witnesses they saw a person running from the area shortly before the fire began. The fire is now under investigation by police.

    West Hills Fire Department along with the Johnstown Police Department assisted JFD on scene.

    Statler said nobody was injured and the building was vacant.
