    Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have dominated headlines across both the college and pro sports world for more than a year now, but they’re just a couple of the big names who will be on the court for the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game.

    The WNBA has seen incredible growth this season, as waves of new fans are discovering the elite talent and iconic superstars that have always existed in the league. From star rookies like Clark and Reese, to MVP frontrunner A’ja Wilson, this year’s All-Star Game will put this current generation of top women’s hoopers on full display.

    The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game will tip off shortly after 8:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 20.

    ABC will televise the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game.

    When is the WNBA 3-point contest?

    The All-Star weekend broadcast begins at 9 p.m. ET on Friday, July 19, with the skills competition. The 3-point contest follows that event.

    The skills competition participants are Sophie Cunningham (Phoenix Mercury), Allisha Gray (Atlanta Dream), Brittney Griner (Mercury), Marina Mabrey (Connecticut Sun) and Erica Wheeler (Indiana Fever).

    The 3-point contest participants are Gray, Mabrey, Stefanie Dolson (Washington Mystics), Jonquel Jones (New York Liberty) and Kayla McBride (Minnesota Lynx).

    WNBA All-Star Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and U.S. Olympic team member Sabrina Ionescu of the New York Liberty both opted out of the 3-point contest.

    Who is coaching the WNBA All-Star team?

    The WNBA’s all-star format features a team of all-stars facing off against the U.S. Olympic team . Hoops legend Cheryl Miller will coach the all-stars, while Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve will coach the national team.

    All-Star weekend spans July 19-21, but then the regular season will remained paused during the Olympic Games until Aug. 15.
