Fever Coach Christie Sides Used One Word to Describe Caitlin Clark's Assist Record

On Wednesday night, Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark set the all-time WNBA record for assists in a single game with 19 dimes in a loss to the Dallas Wings.

Clark continues to shatter records at every turn in her young WNBA career. Basketball fans are running out of words to describe her continuous stream of astounding performances.

Fever coach Christie Sides summed up Clark's most recent record-breaking performance with one word: "incredible."

"19 assists is incredible," Sides said after the game. "... and the most assists in a season in franchise history tonight too."

Clark set a new franchise single-season assist record with 202 through the first 26 games of her WNBA career. She currently leads the league in assists per game with 8.2. Before reaching this historic 19 mark, her previous WNBA career high was 13.

Clark will take the court as a member of the 2024 WNBA All-Star Team in a matchup against Team USA on Saturday night.
