Erica Wheeler will not be part of the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game in Phoenix, but her name will be on the court of Footprint Center, and the Indiana Fever guard has already taken notice of it.

Wheeler just requested her Indiana Fever teammates, including Caitlin Clark, who will play in the exhibition contest against Team USA this Saturday.

“I need a bucket by my name @aa_boston @Kelz_Hoop @CaitlinClark22 🥹😕,” Clark shared on X (formerly Twitter) along with a screenshot of Chloe Peterson’s post .

Wheeler was a former WNBA All-Star MVP, winning the award in the 2019 edition of the event. In that game, she came off the bench and went off with 25 points while knocking down seven three-pointers to help Team Wilson beat Team Delle Donne, 129-126.

Will Clark, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell put on a show against Team USA? That remains to be seen, but Wheeler will surely be cheering for them.

This season, Wheeler is averaging 4.2 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game for the Fever.
