Two local agencies and a group from Miami, Florida, have teamed up increase the reward amount for information that leads to finding a Shasta County woman who has been missing since May.

The Redding Rancheria, Shasta County Secret Witness and the Kingsman Philanthropic Corp. are pitching in $30,000, or up to $10,000 each, for information that could help locate Nikki Cheng Saelee McCain, who was last seen May 17.

Little is known about the nature of McCain's disappearance, except that her 2002 pewter-colored Chevrolet Avalanche was found May 25 in Tehama County. The Shasta County Sheriff's Office would not say where in the county her truck was located.

McCain is 39 years old, 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes, the sheriff’s office said.

Rancheria officials sent out a news release Friday saying they hope the increased reward money will improve the chances of finding the mother of four.

Kingsman conducts recovery operations for missing and exploited women and children, according to its website. It is a nonprofit made up of military veterans, retired law enforcement and other security experts, the website says.

Brian Fitzgibbons, the Kingsman's director of operations, said he met McCain's sisters while working on a television show about missing persons.

"Particularly concerning about this case is that Nikki was the alleged victim and witness in a horrific domestic violence case that was being brought against her husband, Tyler McCain. She went missing before she had a chance to stand up to him in court," Fitzgibbons said in a text message.

Charges against Tyler McCain, who had pleaded not guilty in the case, were dropped July 5.

The district attorney's office said Nikki Cheng Saelee McCain legally had to be present for the case against her husband to go forward. Without her involvement in the case, Superior Court Judge Daniel Flynn said he had to dismiss the charges against Tyler McCain.

"As of yesterday, 7/18, Nikki has been missing for two months. Two months of no answers for her four children... and her sisters and family are torn apart by this," Fitzgibbons said. "Someone knows something."

The Redding Rancheria is asking anyone with information to call the Nor-Cal Alliance for the Missing at 530-638-3855 or 530-378-4491. Tips about McCain's whereabouts can be left online with secret witness at secretwitness.com/submit-a-tip. The Kingsman organization can be reached at 786-509-7135 or by email at tips@therealkingsman.org.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone who might have information about her to call the the department's major crimes unit at 530-245-6135.
