WNBA Legend Makes Clear Pick in Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reese WNBA Rookie of the Year Debate

The WNBA All-Star weekend has been incredible so far, with many players entertaining both on and off the court. The skills challenge kicked off on Friday and was swept by Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray. During the orange carpet event, quite a few players showed off with their stellar outfits, and even answered some juicy questions.

One question in particular was asked to a number of WNBA stars, and it was pretty controversial. They were asked which rookie from this season they'd want to team up with in a 2v2 scenario. One of the players that answered was WNBA legend, Diana Taurasi, who made her pick abundantly clear.

While she was one of a few players to say Clark, she was one of the only people to give a real reason. "I think Caitlin had 19 assists last night... I'm gonna go with the passer". said Taurasi. While this is making the pick for who they'd rather team up with, it's clear what she values most, and that happens to be what Clark brings to the table.
