With the college football season around the corner, the conferences look much different than a year ago. USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Washington are now all in the Big Ten. Texas and Oklahoma are placed in the SEC, while the ACC now has Cal and Stanford. Those are just some of the other changes across the sport.

It doesn't look like expansion is done. The SEC could very well add a team despite Greg Sankey's media day comments. College football insider David Pollack joined OutKick and named two ACC teams that would fit well in the SEC.

"You know who fits in the SEC? NC State and Virginia Tech. Those are teams that, you go to those games, those are SEC environments," Pollack said. "Those are awesome shows, passionate college football fans, and you get those markets while not compromising the top of those markets. I could see those two teams being there."

The ACC has serious questions, with programs such as Clemson and Florida State reportedly wanting out. If that happens, it could very well be a domino effect, with others such as NC State, Virginia Tech, and North Carolina also trying to leave the conference.

For the record, Paul Finebaum mentioned the Tar Heels as his preferred option for the SEC,

Regarding Virginia Tech and NC State, those are big environments with passionate fan bases, which would certainly be appealing to Greg Sankey and the SEC if they consider expansion sometime soon.

At this point, we are just around the corner from a few megaconferences, and things could change really quickly.
