Video Of Angel Reese At Phoenix Pool Party Goes Viral Before WNBA All-Star Game

The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game is in Phoenix, as the league's brightest stars are getting together for an exciting weekend. This year's game will feature USA Basketball's Paris Olympics roster vs. the 2024 WNBA All-Star team which adds a unique dynamic to an already exciting weekend.

All-Star weekend is also an opportunity for players to relax and spend time away from basketball, which will be especially prevalent as the WNBA begins this extended Olympic break. One player who is doing exactly this is Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, who was seen enjoying Phoenix in a viral pool party video on X:

Reese is joining Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark as the only other rookie to be an All-Star this season. Entering the All-Star break leading WNBA rookies in rebounds per game, sitting just 0.1 rebounds per game behind Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson for the league lead.

With her rebounding, Reese is also averaging 13.5 points per game. Averaging a double-double, Reese broke a WNBA record with her double-double streak earlier this season.

This level of play from Reese led to her being a WNBA All-Star in year one, as she now gets to enjoy Phoenix with other stars around the league this weekend. Following the All-Star game, Reese will have just under a month to rest, as the WNBA schedule does not resume until August 15th.

The WNBA All-Star game begins at 5:30 PM PT in Phoenix on Saturday afternoon where Reese and Clark will take on Team USA.
