Caitlin Clark has already earned the respect of countless WNBA legends who came before her.

Women's basketball icon Rebecca Lobo is on the call as the lead analyst for ESPN's coverage of the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday night.

Clark's passing display was on full display early in this highly-anticipated matchup against Team USA. The Indiana Fever's No. 1 overall pick connected with New York Liberty star Jonquel Jones on a beautiful transition dime during the first half.

After this play, Lobo described Clark's passing ability as "elite."

"This is one of the things that makes Caitlin Clark elite in terms of players in the WNBA when it comes to passing," Lobo said when breaking down the play.

Take a look at the highlight play here:

Lobo has been vocally supportive of Clark throughout her early WNBA career. Earlier this week, the former UConn basketball superstar named Caitlin Clark as her clear pick for the 2024 Rookie of the Year trophy.

Lobo made her stance very clear after Clark's all-time WNBA record of 19 assists during a loss to the Dallas Wings on Wednesday night.

"Going into the All-Star break, I certainly see Caitlin Clark as the [Rookie of the Year] favorite," Lobo said. "... Right now because of what she's doing on the offensive end of the floor, certainly my vote would go to Caitlin Clark.

Clark has three assists with just under five minutes remaining in the second quarter.
