Angel Reese Has Two-Word Admission About Playing With Caitlin Clark At WNBA All-Star Game

Their rivalry dates back to their college days and has been well documented throughout the early stages of their WNBA careers.

Both Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark have put the WNBA on notice during their strong rookie campaigns and have even added a couple more chapters to their story. But on Saturday, they set aside their rivalry for a night as they are both part of the WNBA All-Star team and are looking to take down Team USA before they go to Paris for the Olympics.

Neither Reese nor Clark have been lighting up the scoreboard, but they have impacted the game in other ways. Clark has dished out six assists, while Reese continues to dominate the glass, grabbing seven rebounds in five minutes off the bench. ESPN was able to interview Reese during the game and ask her about her first All-Star game, her time off, and, of course, teaming up with her rival.

When asked about what it's like to play with Clark instead of against her, Reese said, "It's so cool."

"I know when she gets the ball, I'm running to look for the ball because I know she's gonna throw it. She's been great to play with," Reese said about Clark.

She also made it known that this likely won't be the last time they are on the same team, hinting at the fact that they will both be pushing for an Olympic spot in four years.

"I mean, in the future, we're going to be playing with each other a lot. Hopefully in four years we can be Olympians together."

If the two rookies continue to shine like they have in their first year, it seems highly likely that they'll be on the other side of this meeting four years from now.
