The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game was one of the most anticipated sporting events of the summer.

And through three quarters, the game has more than lived up to the hype.

Both Team WNBA and Team USA have been playing excellent, competitive basketball, and the game has been an absolute joy to watch for all women's basketball fans.

And adding to the excitement is the fact that the ESPN broadcast is putting various players on the microphone for brief interviews while they're on the sidelines.

One moment from Caitlin Clark has WNBA fans in tears.

The ESPN commentators told Clark that she's two assists away from tying WNBA legend Sue Bird's record for the most ever assists in a WNBA All-Star Game.

    Clark's response?

"Oh it’s Sue’s? Then I’m breaking it. Sue's been talking crap all game (courtside)," she said.

"If it’s anybody else, they can keep it."

While Clark was clearly joking, the fact that the Fever rookie sensation is comfortable enough to crack a joke like that on national TV is a great sign for both her and women's basketball's future.
