ABC Telecast Unveils Shocking Details of Aubrey Plaza's Major Injury at WNBA All-Star Weekend

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

Unfortunately, that appears to be what happened to actress and mega-star Aubrey Plaza, who was courtside at the WNBA All-Star game on Saturday night. When coming back from a commercial break, the ABC telecast showed Plaza courtside along with Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe, but Plaza was sporting crutches.

The ABC crew announced that Plaza was not on crutches coming into the weekend, but she suffered a torn ACL while playing a game of "knock-out" at the Mercury practice facility.

The clip that the showed of Plaza featured both Bird and Rapinoe helping Plaza remove an ice pack from her leg while she sat back with a drink next to the court.

Plaza, who came to fame for her role in Parks & Recreation and then attained massive stardom in HBO's The White Lotus more recently, was a signature feature of the celebrities in attendance for the All-Star Game.

Let's just hope that she was able to stay healthy on the sideline with no player bumping into her leg, and more importantly, that her injury won't impact her filming schedule going forward.
