Flau'jae Johnson's Six-Word Response To Viral Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese WNBA All-Star Play

Caitli Clark and Angel Reese are two rookies who have been the talk of the season for being rivals teamed up on Saturday to lead the WNBA All-Stars against Team USA.

For Saturday's showing against the Olympic team, many people were fascinated to see if there'd be any tension, awkward moments, or blatant signs of them not liking one another.

Instead, they each impacted the game in different ways, as Clark dished out 10 assists, while Reese racked up a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards.

Both players even had a moment with each other with a basketball play that went viral. In the final quarter, Clark blew past by Sabrina Ionescu and drawing the defense of six-foot-nine Britney Griner. Seeing this unfold before her eyes, Clark found Reese for the easy two points off the board.

One fan of the play, in particular, was actually Reese's former LSU teammate Flau'jae Johnson, who took to the app formerly known as Twitter to express just how hyped the play made her.

Cailin Clark and Angel Reese have a history that goes back before their professional careers. Many still remember two years ago when Reese's LSU Tigers blew out the Iowa Hawkeyes, led by Clark, during the national title game.

The season after, Clark and Iowa got revenge, and their rivalrous relationship has only gotten stronger as they are each the faces of a franchise.

This was not the first time the American national team got defeated by a WNBA select squad. In 2021, the WNBA All-Stars beat Team USA by eight points, 117-109, behind Arike Ogunbowale's game-high 34 points.

For Team USA, they'll have one more tune-up game before the Paris Olympics, as they'll head across the pond to take on Germany.

Team USA will officially begin their Olympic bid when they take on Japan. Having not been part of the national team, Reese and Clark will get some much-needed time off as the entire WNBA does not return until mid-August.
