Caitlin Clark and the WNBA All-Star Team took down Team USA with a 117-109 score in Phoenix on Saturday night.

Clark was left off the Team USA roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics — sparking controversy around the WNBA world.

After Saturday night's win, Clark was asked if she felt any vindication for beating the team that will leave her at home this summer.

    Clark issued a classy response.

"No. They're really good. They have plenty of talent on that team," she said. "Four years prior, Team WNBA beat Team USA — they were perfectly fine in the Olympics. If anything it shows how good this league is. It shows how much talent is in this league... They could've picked any combination of 12 players and they probably would've been really, really successful.

"For myself, from my standpoint. This is a great opportunity to help prepare them for Paris. I'm going to be supporting them and cheering them on... They're going to be just fine. They're going to win gold and dominate."

"So consistent in giving the best answer. Doesn’t get caught in the trap for sound bites. Just incredible for a 22 year old," one fan wrote.

"This is why she's the favorite. Not only can she pass like Pistol Pete but she's an example of grace and smart answers," another said.

"She just holds master class after master class on how on to carry oneself and answer questions," another added.

As she said, Clark will be cheering on Team USA as they take on the Olympic competition as the overwhelming favorite to win gold in Paris.
