Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark stole the show at the WNBA All-Star game, helping lead Team WNBA to a 117-109 victory over Team USA. Following the victory, the rookie was caught on camera embracing WNBA legend Sue Bird on the sideline.

Clark was seen hugging Bird while exchanging some words with the four-time WNBA champion.

WNBA fans responded to the interaction, expressing delight with the respect from the former star to one of the new faces of the league.

"That's really refreshing to see. These amazing women should celebrate each other," said one fan.

"Respect," commented another with a meme.

"Caitlin Clark is redefining what it means to be a rookie in the WNBA," explained another.

Caitlin Clark finished the game with four points and 10 assists. She notched the record for the most assists in the WNBA All-Star game for a rookie, but she was just shy of snatching the overall record from Bird.

Bird recorded 11 assists in the 2017 WNBA All-Star game. Clark nearly secured the record, but she'll have plenty of time to achieve the feat with a lengthy career ahead.
