The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game proved to be the spectacular event that fans had been hoping for.

One of the most exciting aspects of the game was that rookies Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese were playing together on Team WNBA, who was facing off against the Team USA squad that's now headed to the Paris 2024 Olympics.

And Team WNBA ended up defeating Team USA by a score of 117-109.

Given that Team USA is supposed to be comprised of the best players, many people thought that they wouldeasily beat Team WNBA.

This includes sports media personality Stephen A. Smith.

Prior to Saturday's game, Smith said, "In my opinion, A'ja Wilson, even though she's going to be a member of Team USA in Paris this summer, I personally believe she should be playing for the WNBA All-Stars against Team USA.

"She should go against her Team USA teammates and bust their living you-know-what because A'ja Wilson is the truth," Smith added, per his YouTube channel .

"She should be on [Team WNBA] because it might not be fair what [Team USA] does to the WNBA players," he said.

Smith, who also credited Clark and Reese for Team WNBA's upset win, was very wrong about that take.
