Breanna Stewart scored the second-most amount of points in Saturday night's WNBA All-Star Game, missing out on MVP honors as Arike Ogunbowale led her team of WNBA stars to a 117-109 win.

Lost in the hoopla over the game itself was an announcement from the star player known as "Stewie" that pertains to a new basketball league featuring some of the women's game's brightest stars.

Unrivaled is a 3-on-3 professional women's basketball league founded by two WNBA players and Olympians, Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx and Stewart of the New York Liberty.

The league may remind some fans of the 'Big 3' created by rapper Ice Cube, although its branding and style appear to be quite different.

Several big name stars of the women's game have signed on with more expected to be named in the coming months.
