Caitlin Clark has been playing basketball almost non-stop since the start of her final collegiate season with the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Just one week after Clark led Iowa to the NCAA Tournament National Championship game, she was selected by the Indiana Fever with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

But with the WNBA All-Star Game now over and the 2024 Paris Olympics set to begin, Clark has her first extended break from basketball since 2023.

While Team USA heads to Paris to compete for a gold medal, Clark plans to take some well-deserved rest.

"i honestly can't wait to touch a basketball for a while," Clark said during her postgame media availability. "I think I shot too many times in the past year."

"Such a fun first All Star experience in Phoenix!! The fans and city were amazing... Now time for some rest and relaxation :) see you all in a month," she added in a postgame post on X.

WNBA fans all agree that Clark deserves to take as much rest as she needs over the Olympic break.

"Congratulations on your incredible all star game, we’re all so proud of you. enjoy your rest!!! You deserve it," one wrote.

"She has been playing for a year straight! She needs a break," another said.

"Enjoy your vacation Caitlin. Well earned. All Star game was fun to watch and very compelling," another added.

Clark set an all-time WNBA All-Star Game rookie record with 10 assists in Saturday night's win over Team USA.
