When it comes to throwing touchdown passes, New York Jets ' quarterback Aaron Rodgers is arguably the best there is.

The 40-year-old field general ranks fifth all-time amongst NFL passers with 475 career scoring strikes. Over the four seasons directly prior to his 2023 Achilles injury, Rodgers averaged 34.3 TD passes per campaign.

For some perspective, the Jets have seen only one 30-touchdown pass season in team history.

Meanwhile, our friends at FanDuel shared a staggering statistic , which highlights Rodgers's passing prowess, on the social media site now known as X. The post listed those quarterbacks who have registered at least five four-touchdown performances over the past five years, and Rodgers topped the chart despite having "missed the ENTIRE season last year."

No one has thrown at least four touchdown passes in a single game more often than Rodgers over the last half-decade . The four-time NFL MVP has accounted for 12 such performances despite playing fewer games than some of his competitors.

For perspective, four quarterbacks — Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Dak Prescott and the retired Tom Brady — have turned the trick 10 times in a five-year span.

Russell Wilson (9), Lamar Jackson (7) and Jameis Winston (5) rounded out FanDuel 's list.

As an organization, the Jets have experienced two 4 TD pass efforts over the par five seasons. Joe Flacco is responsible for the most-recent performance on September 18, 2022 against the Cleveland Browns .
