In its final tuneup ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Team USA on Monday defeated Germany 92-88 to finish exhibition play at 5-0.

Trailing Germany late in the fourth quarter, ageless superstar LeBron James once again turned on the jets, scoring Team USA's final 11 points to finish the game with a team-high 20 points. LeBron also recorded six rebounds, four assists, and a block in the United States' narrow victory.

In the tunnel back to the locker room after the game, James' Team USA and Lakers teammate Anthony Davis couldn't help but give a special shoutout to LeBron for the late-game heroics.

He also poked fun at the soon-to-be 40-year-old.

"LeBron James...He's a monster," Davis said. "He's still doing this at 45!"

James, 39, will turn 40 years old on December 30.

Despite being the oldest active player in the NBA, LeBron's late-game heroics have likely saved Team USA from upset losses in back-to-back exhibitions.

He hit what turned out to be the game-winning layup against South Sudan in a narrow 101-100 victory on Saturday.

With exhibition play now complete, Team USA will now turn its attention to Serbia.

The team's first Olympic Group Stage matchup is set for July 28.
