WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Kansas driver’s license offices are still impacted by the issues with the CrowdStrike.

On Friday, a defective software update sent by CrowdStrike to its customers disrupted airlines, banks, hospitals and other critical services Friday, affecting about 8.5 million machines running Microsoft’s Windows operating system.

The following offices in Kansas had problems processing transactions. According to the Kansas Department of Revenue, some have reopened:

    • Atchison
    • Chanute
    • Colby
    • Concordia
    • Emporia
    • Fort Scott – Reopened
    • Junction City – Reopened
    • Kansas City – Reopened
    • Leavenworth
    • Manhattan – Reopened
    • McPherson – Reopened
    • Ottawa
    • Parsons/Baxter Springs
    • Phillipsburg
    • Pittsburg
    • Salina – Reopened
    • Seneca
    • Winfield – Reopened

The KDOR says the remaining offices have limited capacity to process transactions, and wait times may be longer than usual.
