Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have helped usher in a new era of the WNBA, and sometimes, it's tough to remember that they both are only rookies.

Millions of folks are tuning in to watch Clark and Reese play on a nightly basis, and it's something that hasn't been lost on WNBA legend Sue Bird.

Bird has had a front-row seat to watch how Clark and Reese have helped transform the league in such a short amount of time. And if you ask her, this is only the start of the WNBA's massive growth in the world of sports.

Bird had a legendary career in her own right, but even she wasn't able to generate the same attention for the league that Clark and Reese have managed to do in such a short amount of time.

And with superstar players in college like JuJu Watkins just chomping at the bit to make their own impact, it's safe to say the league is in good hands.

It's crazy how much the WNBA has grown since Clark and Reese were drafted, and Bird may be right in saying that this is just the start.
