    CeeDee Lamb.

It seems as if Dallas Cowboys superstar wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is going to officially be a holdout.

Lamb is not reporting to Cowboys training camp, according to a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport on Tuesday night, as the two sides remain unable to come to terms on a new long-term contract extension.

Lamb has not taken part in any offseason team activities as the contract negotiations play out, so it is not a surprise he is skipping out on the start of camp.

The only problem for Lamb now is that he is subject to fines and lost salary for not reporting to camp.

He is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is slated to make $17.9 million. But because he has developed into one of the best wide receivers in football, and given the rising salaries for the league's other top receivers, Lamb is looking to join them in that tax bracket.

Lamb said earlier this offseason that his goal is to be one of the highest-paid receivers in the league.

He is coming off a 2023 season that saw him catch a league-leading 135 passes for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns. All of those numbers were career highs.

In four years, he has already caught 395 passes for 5,145 yards and 32 touchdowns.

The Lamb contract saga -- and how holdout -- is just another headache for a Cowboys team that had a completely underwhelming offseason. Despite owner Jerry Jones saying the team was going to be "all in" on a championship, Dallas did not really add much to its roster and now one of its best players is not in camp for the start.
