Since early November, Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark has not gone more than a few weeks without any basketball action. After her final game with the Iowa Hawkeyes in the 2023 national championship on April 7, Clark was selected as the No. 1 pick by the Fever on April 15 and jumped straight into training camp.

Now, after the 2024 WNBA All-Star game, Clark and the rest of the WNBA, excluding Team USA, will get roughly a month off due to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

On Tuesday, Bri Lewerke, a sports photographer who has worked closely with Clark since college, made an Instagram post asking, "Who else is already missing Fever basketball?"

Clark, who is less than a week removed from action, replied, "Me," admitting to already missing the game.

Clark has led the Fever to an 11-15 record during the 2024 WNBA season, which is good for the seventh seed in the playoffs. The eight WNBA teams with the best records make the playoffs, regardless of conference.

In 26 games, Clark has averaged 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 8.1 assists. She also broke the single-game record for most assists in WNBA history and became the first rookie to record a triple-double.
