New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.

New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll told reporters on Wednesday that quarterback Daniel Jones was good to go for 11-on-11 drills as he works his way back from last season's torn ACL.

ESPN's Jordan Raanan reported that Daboll said that the team will monitor how Jones feels to decide how they continue with his return to action.

The Duke product is just eight months removed from ACL surgery after going down with the injury in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

In late May, Jones labeled himself as ready to go for Week 1 of the regular season.

Then in mid-June he told media members that he thinks he'll regain his full mobility before September.

Jones had a career-best campaign in 2022 when he produced 22 total touchdowns (seven rushing) against just five interceptions and posted a career-high 92.5 passer rating. He signed a four-year, $160M contract extension in March 2023 but struggled mightily last season.

The 2019 first-round pick missed Weeks 6, 7 and 8 due to a neck injury and then suffered his season-ending ACL injury during his return to action in Week 9. Jones finished his fifth season with a career-high 67.5 completion percentage but just 909 passing yards, two touchdowns, six interceptions and a career-worst 70.5 passer rating.
