CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Two suspects allegedly robbed a Sheetz convenience store in Chesterfield County in the early morning hours on Wednesday.

At 12:25 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, police said two male suspects entered a Sheetz convenience store located at 231 East Hundred Road with guns, told employees to get on the ground and demanded money.

The suspects assaulted one employee and took cash before fleeing the scene, according to police. The injured employee was then taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The first suspect is described by police as being a Black man who stands at about 5 feet and 10 inches tall, who was wearing all black and a dark-colored face mask.

The second suspect is described as being a Black man with a lighter complexion who was wearing lighter-washed jeans, white shoes, a dark-colored sweatshirt and a dak-colored face covering.

Police continue to investigate the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 804-748-0660.
