There's no doubting that the Miami Dolphins have a roster brimming with high-level talent.  And judging by the latest release of names on the NFL Top 100 list, it appears much of the NFL believes they do as well.

Terron Armstead, Jordan Poyer, Jaylen Waddle, and Bradley Chubb all appeared on the list of players ranked 70-61 on Wednesday night.

Chubb and Armstead were certainly the biggest movers.  Chubb went from unranked in 2023 all the way up to 62 this year, and it was a deserved move.  Chubb's 11 sacks were the most since his rookie season in 2018, and his 6 forced fumbles led the league. An avoidable ACL tear in garbage time in a blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17 prematurely ended his season.

Amstead's jump was perhaps a little bit more eyebrow raising.  Armstead was certainly strong when he was on the field, and there's no question he dealt with some unfortunate injuries.  However, he only played in 10 of the Dolphins' 17 regular season games.  And with some of the best tackles in the game in the Buccaneers' Tristan Wirfs and the Texans' Laremy Tunsil behind him on the list, that's honestly a surprise.

Waddle's drop from 44 to 63 is a tad of a head scratcher as well.  The talented wideout notched his third 1000-yard receiving output in as many seasons with 1014 yards on 72 catches and 4 touchdowns despite Tyreek Hill on pace for much of the season for 2000 receiving yards .

The NFL Top 100 list is voted in by the players late in the prior season, and they are given the chance to vote for their top 20 players in the league.  #1 gets 20 points, #2 gets 19, and so on.  The points are tallied among all players, and the list is made.  The NFL revealed 4 submitted ballots recently that shows the layout of the ballot.

As such, it's clear that a number of Dolphins caught the attention of their peers in a positive way in 2023.  We'll see if they can work their way higher on this list with a strong season this fall.
