Car crashes under tractor trailer towed unit, coming out the other side

BARTON COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM) — About 1:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon reports of a serious crash at Mo-126 and State Route T alerted Barton County Emergency-911.

Golden City Fire, Barton County EMS, Barton County Deputies responded. Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified.

On scene we learn a white car had failed to yield at Mo-126 and traveled under the towed unit of a semi and came out the other side. The driver did not survive. The MCIU (Major Crash Investigation Unit) was summoned for crash reconstruction.

Aubren Dudley , 30, of Rogersville, Mo. was driving a 2022 Chevy Malibu. She was traveling south on State Route T, failed to yield and crashed under the trailer. She was pronounced on the scene.

Patrick Wright , 35, of Houston, Texas was driving a 2020 Freightliner traveling east on Mo-126. He was not injured.

Parks Towing removed the crashed vehicle  and debris.

The semi driver was able to separate from the damaged towed unit and drive from the scene. The towed unit was then removed by Parks
