Fireworks Friday to kick off Monroe County Fair

MONROE — A fireworks celebration to kick off the 77th Monroe County Fair will take at dusk Friday at the Monroe County Fairgrounds, 3775 S. Custer Road.

The display is sponsored by Dynamic Transportation LLC and Dynamic Fleet Services.

Parking will be in the lot east of the fairgrounds, off M-50 and south of the fairgrounds off of South Raisinville Road. Signs will be displayed.

Food vendors and restrooms will be onsite. Admission is free. The rain date is Sept. 20.
