Kevin Durant's Three-Word Reaction to Anthony Edwards Dunking on Him in Team USA Practice

USA Basketball arrived in Paris on Thursday for the Olympics, and the team held an official practice in preparation for their Group Play opener against Serbia on Sunday. Having been sidelined with a calf injury for all of USA's Showcase Games, Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant returned to practice on Thursday, which is a good sign for his availability going forward.

While it was great for Team USA to get Durant back on the floor, the two-time NBA Finals MVP was on the wrong end of a thunderous dunk from Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards that has been going viral on social media:

Opponents in the opening round of last season's Western Conference Playoffs, Durant and Edwards faced off in what was a four-game sweep for the Timberwolves. Now USA Basketball teammates, Durant and Edwards were on opposing teams for this scrimmage, and it did not end well for the Suns star.

Having some fun with this, Durant issued a three-word response on X, writing, "I tried Jennifer."

A play on CJ McCollum's viral "I'm trying Jennifer" post from 2018, Durant had no problem making fun of himself for getting put on a poster by the Timberwolves star.

Edwards has been open about Durant being his favorite player growing up, saying a moment with the Suns star in last year's playoffs was one of the best moments of his life:

After dunking on Durant in a USA Basketball practice, Edwards may have a new moment that challenges his battle with Durant from last postseason.
