Ryan Reynolds recently revealed the sex of his and Blake Lively 's fourth child, Olin , following a highly-anticipated name drop last week.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe star sat down with fellow father John Bell , whose late son was a Deadpool fanatic, on Friday (July 26). Proving that movies bring us together and that "none of us are alone" Reynolds, father to James , 9, Inez , 7, Betty , 4, and Olin , 1, invited Bell to Los Angeles to receive the full "Hollywood Deadpool treatment" amid the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, and the two chatted about mortality, fatherhood, motivation, and more.

"He was just so funny, so comical," Bell revealed of his late son, Jake , who passed away in 2020. "We did everything together . He was my first born son. He was just absolutely everything to me."

    He continued:

"After I lost my son, Jake, it put me in a very dark place. For a year, I was planning my own death and talking myself into staying because my family needed me, my kids needed me, and what I do now keeps me alive. Because I have made my peace with death. I'm going to be reunited with him at some point, but it d*** right ain't now!"

Bell has spent the last couple of years fronting his own fundraiser, walking with a heavy bathtub strapped to his shoulders in a Deadpool costume to symbolize the pain that many continue to overcome in pursuit of improving their mental health. The inspiring individual has walked a whopping total of 270 miles to raise money for suicide awareness and prevention.

After inviting Bell to share Jake's story and praising him for his resilience as a father, Reynolds revealed the he himself is also a father to baby BOY Olin, his first son! The famed father-of-four told Bell that "If I love him [Olin] 1/10th as much as you love Jake, I feel like I've done a pretty d*** good job."

Deadpool fans and mental health advocates alike can keep up with Bell's selfless journey @Walking4Hope on X . Watch Reynolds' full interview with the mental health advocate below!
